Australia’s expatriate Bangladeshi authorities and journalists’ Sydney Press and Media Council’s new functional council have been formed. The effective council was formed by elections in the invitation and function center of Sydney on June 20 (Sunday) through extensive enthusiasm.
The program was started in the chairmanship of Acting President of the Council, Mohammad Aslam Mollah and the program was started in general secretary Mohamed Abdul Matin.
Council’s general secretary’s report and interim Treasurer Belal Hossain Dhaka submitted the last year’s annual report.
The guests presented review and opinions on various issues. After the approval of the annual report of the annual report and new public officer approval, the Executive Committee of the Executive Committee declared eliminated and requested the Election Commission to conduct elections.

After the selection of the Election Committee, Mohammad Abdul Matin announced the name of 9-member newly effective council for the next two years. Other members of the functional council are Mohamed Aslam Mollah (Senior Vice President), Mohammad Rezaul Haque (Vice-President), Faisal Ahmed (Joint Secretary), Dilara Jahan (Treasurer), Haji Mohammad Delwar Hossain (Public Promotion and Publications Secretary) . The respected members of the effective council are, Dr. Ratan Lalkundu, Akidul Islam and Naim Abdullah
At this time, the members of the council and the members of the new executive committee, welcomed the members of the new executive committee.
