The founder, Iqbal Khan, commonly referred to as “Jamal” set up the company in the financial center Dhaka in Gulshan. He spent his early life in Europe, getting his education at the finest institutes to further his knowledge. Nafisa BD represents a buying agent/house and has established itself through hard work and dedication as the leading garments buying house in Bangladesh as of 2020. Nafisa BD has always set relations with its customers and employees as a core priority. The founder has set up all the business in JANN group, in order for them to respect their clients and employees as he believes this will elevate humanity and the company to an unmatched level. The growth of Nafisa BD, predominantly exponentially, can be traced back to the concerns of the company.
JANN group has vertically integrated in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency and employ more individuals. As of 2020, JANN group has industries in the manufacturing sector, e-commerce sector and in the telecom industry. The majority of the entities of JANN group falls under the manufacturing sector; Emon Fashion Limited, commonly known as EFL, JANN composite mills, Arshad embroidery, and Jann printing. Employing around 6000 individuals in this sector. The garments industry is the backbone of Bangladesh, therefore Mr. Jamal Iqbal Khan has opted to invest in this industry, as he would contribute to the rise of Bangladesh on an economic scale and thus also to reduce the unemployment levels.
